Further to my comments Joann on your' doublers and triplers' about using different open form visual presentation of your tripler I have taken the liberty to post it as a poem to show therein how I would present your tripler.Let me know here after you have read it and I will then delete from my listings.I had to do it this way as these comment boxes do not permit formatting.Rgds Brian

As Andrea says on your other blog Joann, let this theme flow while you are 'in this zone'.This has happened many times with me ,with many forms, and especially with 'footles'.Encourage others with it,perhaps run a contest and see what others come up with .Rgds Brian

As I posted on you tripler blog Joann I would try a more open form style of presentation' a la WCW' see some variation thereof in my July postings..In the left field and Schools out etc.Rgds Brian

As Ruben wisely advises Joann ,create a definition for your 'doublers and triplers',ie number of lines, syllables, visual presentation etc etc especially if you want PS to consider it as a form here.Rgds Brian

I don't think anyone needs' to work at it' too much Joann but understanding a few basics on metre and stress etc etc can help to understand that poetry is an 'oral' art and how it is written impacts on how the poet intended it to be said.rgds Brian

I certainly will try to find this book. Thanks.

In this case Joann the syllabic stress of your poem varies between an iamb(short, long) and in some lines a trochee(long, short).Again a different visual separation would help to give implied punctuation and make it easier for the reader. The title sounds fine. Rgds Brian

I am not very good at meter. I should go work harder on it and stop using that excuse.

If you can think of a better name, please let me know. I also have Triplers, three syllables per line.
