Am I Good Enough?

Waking up in the morning is not as easy as it used to be.
I can remember a time when I had plenty men chasing me.
Oh, honey they were lined up at my front door, but those days are gone and I'm
not loved anymore.
When your young and foolish you feel as though you can never die, it's to the
point now if I'm sad and you look me in the eye I won't cry .
This old tough hide gots plenty of pride still in my whole life I never had to still or
kill ,but giving up my self for others aided my will.
Gave away pieces of me like bus passes, love left me to love I was slower than
molases. Ships wreck upon the shores of my soul trust me the the beach don't
look like it did before this story had reason t o be told.
Huh, whats that you say,"You still don't see were I went wrong today". Well I
wouldn't expect you to understand but I'm way past a cougar and still don't have
someones hand.
That's because when I should have been doing right I was out taking peoples
man.No, I not good enough forget what you say Luciles got a man and so does
Ella May.
Gone and get out of here I know I lost my chance you can't sit here and hold my
hand . Go ahead I'm no good anymore run on, don't forget to shut my door .

I'M NO GOOD ANYMORE!
