Twirl

She twirls,
Her dress fanning like a flower,
Around and around and around,
And around at this precious hour,

She spins,
She isn’t somebody’s little girl,
Her only goal in the world,
Is to stand there and twirl,

She has no regrets
She feels no pain,
She isn’t sorry,
She has no one to blame,

She’s all alone,
To her, the world isn’t there,
She just twirls around,
Without a care,

Around and around,
Around and around,
Not looking up,
Not looking down,

She doesn’t respond,
When you call her name,
As a matter of fact,
She has no name,

Her parent’s left,
Without a word,
So now she’s spinning,
As free as a bird,

She spins and twirls,
And twirls and spins,
Her dress full of,
Needles and pins,

Her dress is quite fancy,
Although her hair is let down,
She doesn’t smile,
She doesn’t frown.

She twirls and spins,
She doesn’t hop,
She doesn’t get dizzy,
She doesn’t stop.

Her world has gone crazy,
And she did too,
Her sky is green,
Her grass is blue.

She doesn’t know the difference,
Between right and wrong,
She’s a child,
Without a song,

She twirls and spins,
Around and around,
Never a smile,
Never a frown,

She twirls,
Her dress fanning out,
She’s not the kind,
To sit there and pout,

She never falls,
She never stumbles,
She’s not clumsy,
She doesn’t bumble,

She spins and twirls,
Around and around,
Not looking up,
Not looking down,

She’s all alone,
There is no one there,
She just spins around,
With no one to care,

Around and around,
She will twirl,
She not extraordinary,
She’s just your average girl,
She has to go on,
It’s gone on for years,
She hasn’t cried,
She hasn’t shed a tear,

She twirls and spins,
She doesn’t hop,
She will twirl and spin,
And then…. she’ll stop,
