A Mans Broke
A mans broke is his hope
Coz we hate hearing the laughter of friends and folks
Saying our wallets tell too many jokes
When you live in a world where money is a language well spoke
But you can't conversate with them or their fancy notes
A mans broke is his pride
Coz if you took a good look inside
You would see past the sad soul who died
And wow how scary the big dreams you will find
See broke is different to you and I
Because for me, broke is the hunger you see inside
Shhhhh...
Look deep
Beyond the water in my eyes
Because broke can be fixed
As long as hope is still alive
And your pride still burns with a heavenly fire
