About Love

you said you couldn't love me
but I really think you do
sometimes in your eyes I see
I'm so afraid of hurting you
loyal and true right by my side
never straying always near
stand tall and allow my face to hide
behind the one that I hold dear
everyone has a cross to bear
baggage to carry and demons who live
just hold me close and say you care
and give me all you have to give
