Rotten

Look in my eyes and try to feel my pain.
My memories collapse
to the sound of her name.
I remember nothing of sweet
Emma Jane.
Not a voice, not a moment
just a familiar face.
All I know is stories
and what I gather from dreams.

I'll never have the future
That history planed for me,
just a motherless child
With demented haunting screams
To afraid to let them out
I just cant take the pain.

I've never felt happiness
Just a void,
I'm a pain filled carcass.

so annoyed
Deep down I am rotten
A joyless boy
who's all but just forgotten
how to love, the way his mother taught him.
So I push away all the affection people show me,
and pretend
That no one around me knows me
Can't comprehend that I am fully broken.

I can't mend this heart I hold before me.
There is no end
To the suffering that controls me.
so again I pretend to live a life with,
No hate, No pain
No lies, No gain.
Just fate
