A Funeral For the Flowers

She said, " ...and I can have as many flowers as my pretty little heart desires to
hold and in any color as well.....

She loves flowers

lots of flowers

fragrant flowers

of beauty and color

bunches of flowers

freshly cut and arranged

to symbolically suggest

that she was ever

capable of love

she gatherers them close

covering the bed

where she lies...

so many flowers

fragrant flowers

to disguise the odor

of her dying

and rotting soul____
