September Sorrows

As the last of September leaves fall
I give my desires over
I sacrificed what I desired most of all..

Though you never answered my most desired prayer
I do this now for others
Because I guess life isn't exactly fair

Maybe this is my karma for my wicked ways
All I know is the old me is dying with the autumn breeze
After all that time, even soaring over the vast sea
All I have left now are broken memories
Burdens
Responsibilities
A thing that was supposed to be exciting and joyful for most
Seems to me, a dissolving of hope
A dissolving of my years
Catering to others needs so everyone else can win but me
No luck in friendship, family or love
My only comfort is myself I guess
But it only feeds my emptiness
A bitter pill from hell above
Ending with me just being tired of everything and feeling internally eternally alone
Filled with strife
No amount of epic words in holy books could ever quench my thirst. Everything I've gained always came with sorrows
Until there is no more tomorrow.
