I Have To Leave,Not By Choice

a girl like you
only comes along
once in lifetime

for a moment
all seemed right
with you by my side

so quickly
it ended
for reasons
unkind

yes,
your still there
i see you everyday
you even talk to me
which isn't fair

for what i did
was unjust
i strung you along
 cut the cord
without warning

I could see sorrow
in your eyes
as I
slammed you down

without a fight
you stammered
we can still be friends,
right?

so i here i lay
 wondor and debate
as you sit and wait
