I Have To Leave,Not By Choice

a girl like you
only comes along
once in lifetime

for a moment
all seemed right
with you by my side

so quickly
it ended
for reasons
unkind

yes,
your still there
i see you everyday
you even talk to me
which isn't fair

for what i did
was unjust
i strung you along
 cut the cord
without warning

I could see sorrow
in your eyes
as I
slammed you down

without a fight
you stammered
we can still be friends,
right?

so i here i lay
 wondor and debate
as you sit and wait

Memory of You

even though we may be apart
my memory of you
will always be in my heart
this i know is true

but this is what haunts me the most,
my memory of you,
is the ghost
of the past we once had,
the future that never became

in time the wounds will heal
but the scars will remain
to remind me
of the beautiful angel I have lost
