To Our Center

If we turn away and
Towards our center -
Away from even one attachment 
then 2,3,4 and on...
Those things, 
Those once important and seemingly essential things
To our existance - are away...
Yet we are mindfully watchfull of them.
Then those powers that have persuaded us...
To need them for our minds protection, defence and pleasure.
If we turn from them, to our center...
They will have no option but to surrender that which binds us to them.
The defence budget would be cut by half - for teachers, schools
sustainable development, electric and solar cars, 
Water filtration systems for our gardens...and on.
Our fences will not be pulled down by them...
by our own minds, anew and found.
