Where Is the Sun

Have u ever been in a place for 24 hours looking at the sky
Waking up going to sleep the sametime, why
Reliving the reconstructed Dark Day Ages as a slave make u cry
Praying to see the sunshine just once more
before u see death and die

My city raised from the dark dirt on earth entitled "The Muck"
I can relate to joking and playing all night, because I don't give a f-ck
Fighting my own people, killing my own kind, because it’s to dark to duck
Learning to live like Christ,
depend on faith, because I've been so out of luck

Oh, don't talk bout struggling,
because I will struggle forever
The FPL man stays next door,
shiny like a star looking oh so clever
Innocent people suffer in prison and
the lawmakers won't listen to reason
People try to predict the weather,
but only god will say if the sun would shine forever.
