Insanity

She clutches her head sliding to the floor
Begging for the voices to leave
She's on her knees but all she can do is cry
She's up all night too scared to sleep
Shirt pulled down hiding scars
Eyes closed tight, hiding from the world
The voices getting louder
The despair is getting stronger
The willing to live has disappeared
She's tired of living like this
She's tired of feeling insane
She can't escape
She's all alone
The voice's get louder
Arms wrapped around her waist
As she tries to grab a hold of reality
She begs, pleads, needing release
Her hands shake as she watches the girl she use to know in the mirror
She sees a girl, a broken girl
A girl with no intent of living another night
Eyes dark, no spark left
She picks up a gun, smiling to herself
Smiling one last time, the first time in months
She says her final goodbye
She falls to the ground with a THUD
Her mom throws open the door too late
She falls to her knees and weeps
Crying for her only daughter
Her daughter who is now gone
The girl laying in the casket, cold and dead
She lost the battle, She lost the war...
She lost to insanity

Very intense as I feel this crimson tear slide down my face. My Heart goes out to all who have to endure such pain.
