Deepest Sympathy

I lay silent and still in thick darkness.
The smell of death fills the air.
I feel cold like death just gave me a kiss.
A subtle kiss from the dark warrior itself.
The feeling of a thin string runs through my fingers
tangled in between my my still nerves.
One pull of the string will sound the bell of life.
Then again I will see my children and my wife.
But it is far to late I've taken to long.
Hopefully God will forgive what I did wrong.
I am fading into just a memory.
The end, good-bye and deepest sympathy.
