Forever and Always
The memory of who you were still haunts me,
The ghost of our love forever stalks my mind,
You've killed the person I was,
and you've taken with you everything I could of been,
Day by day and night by night I sink deeper and deeper
Into my invisible plight,
One breath and you offered love and hope,
The next and you snatched it all away,
Your kindness has no limits,
Your cruelty no boundaries,
More times than I can count,
I was made to endure,
The denials of your feelings,
The shame you felt in loving me,
I hope you're happy with our pathes that you have chosen,
For the one I was given has left me so very broken,
Forever yours and always,
Always alone.
