Limbo

I’d like to have a future, but the past is all
I have
The world seems dismal and the apples have
Gone bad
People are all evil pretending to be friends
But they prove to be snakes when they backstab
In the end
So I’m all alone as I will always be
Too weak to overcome my sense of misery
I feel remote from all of humanity
They pulled away every time I tried to reach
The magic is all gone as well as the
Curiosity
All the beautiful things in life are replaced
By atrocities
Happiness is an illusion, a demon that likes
To tease
Despair and stagnation are the only things
I see
I had hoped for love, but bitterness was
All I found
Then I realized superficiality was all around
There are no happy endings, just ways to
Patch up a wound
But the infection is already spreading and
Decay will set in soon
So I’m all alone as I will always be
Too weak to overcome my sense of misery
There is no haven, no place of sanctuary
I am caught in the damnation of humanity
