I Envy

 I envy the birds
for they can fly
away from their troubles
out into the sky,

I envy the wanderers 
for they are free
Not tied down by their problems
not like me,

I envy the innocent
for they have not seen
The wars all around us
and the ones there have been,

I envy the smart ones
who walked away from it all
Much unlike me
for I stumble and fall.
