The Unknown

That thought.
That uncontrollable thought.
The thought that haunts me eternally.
How does such a question pose it's self.
It doesn't.
It creeps upon at the utmost darkest hours.
The hours of night.

My thoughts stay concealed behind a protective field.
They cannot be touched,
Not unless the keeper allows.
This thought is not uncommon to the human nature.
It poses everyone.
What is the life after death?

This thought doesn't necessarily haunt me,
But as to concern me all the time.
The mystic beyond.
The unknown space we call the universe.
What hidden things lie beyond the void.
Emptiness,
Futileness.
Unknown.
The unknown.
