Rituals

Red tears run down my arm, My pain barely visable,
I laugh in strange charm, Closing my eyes to see you,
Dementia Sets, I`m suddenly next in cue,
I feel it in my heart, Darkness all I can view,
I Don`t really mind, I`ll face, attempt my amend(s)
Happyness I find, For anything can happen,
I can wish to die, I can wish I hadn`t been,
I watch life pass me by, (and) I pretend to slowly die.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Hi Curtis, welcome to the site, I'm new here too but so far am loving it! I enjoyed this poem, as heart-wrenching as it is. You did a good job evoking emotion with your imagery. Other than some spelling and grammar nitpicks, this is top notch! Thanks for the read!
