the reason why

The reason why i keep to myself
my feelings in simpler terms
is because i can't explain them 

I tell myself it's all okay,
But I know it’s just a lie

I can't even bring myself to tell the person i trust most
I don't want her to worry
I don't want her to doubt
I don't want her to fear 
Or ask questions

I want her to be beside me
To listen carefully
Watching the world go by
And everything silenced
