From Day One

My love for you is like a soaring dove.
Where would we be without each other's love?
I've tried and tried to get you out of my life,
But you cut through my attempts with a very sharp
knife!
It's like you and I, to be, were meant.
We need to start living right and now repent.
My love for you I can't explain,
We've made it this far through all the PAIN.
It started about four years ago, actually about six.
Our hearts connected and you're not even a man that I would pick.
You even left and came back from a different state.
After that we were always on the same street, NOW THAT IS FATE!!
You looked through the mirror and turned your head.
“THAT’S HIM!” Is what I actually said.
Even though I really didn't know you;
You were on my mind, and disappeared without a clue.
A strange feeling: I missed that boy from 7 Eleven.
When you looked through your mirror, WE BOTH WERE IN HEAVEN.
Our lives changed from that day forth.
We have been going SOUTH, NOW it's time to go NORTH!
