My Sweet Girl

My one and only, as lovely as a dove
Oh how I cherish my sweet, sweet girl
Who alone defined love
When I first saw her I felt my heart unfurl

How could I compete
Such an innocent soul, untouched by another
Winning her heart was no easy feat
Even now, her lips still feel like summer
