Under the Firmament

Under the firmament
Vying  to escape the dome  of purgatory
A trap which seems permanent
Filled with negative energy and pain
Stuck on a plain
That plays tricks on the brain
Driving souls insane
Desensitized to such evil ways
The supreme comglomerate of capitalism has free reign
Its bi product swiftly divides humanity
Corrupting those who
are unable to
manouver through
Due to
A melenated hue
Causing such bitter hatred in so many others view
That Begets self hatred
Causing moor on moor crime

Bullets to the Brain
for simple paper and gold chains
Hindering any chance of escape
Focused energy on material things
The value of life secondary
For the weight of the planet is infinite
Upon the shoulders of those considered insignificant

Pressing  the mind
Causing aggression to build into rage inside
Lashing out on one another
For the reflection looks so disgustingly similar to melenated men  standing in mirrors
Questions that themselves why
Change literally impossible to aye
Trapped beneath grey skies
Dense with gun smoke and tormented cries
Our own worse enemy
Our  own ops

Bullets to the Brain
for simple paper and gold chains
Hindering any chance of escape
Focused energy on material things
The value of life secondary
For the weight of the planet is infinite
Upon the shoulders of those considered insignificant

Under the firmament
dying to escape this trap of purgatory
With these suicidal thoughts of Positivity
Upon  a planet where entities flourish amongst evil activity

After all these years
Blood sweat and tears
Still, I am
Physically trapped here
Among many who pretend
But really don't care
Themselves focused on escape routes far from here

Where?

The pit of dispair
Home to addiction
Affliction and
Constant fear
Royalty unaware
Brothers Killin each other out here
Sisters outside in their underwear
Angry empty glares
The seemingly many that project no future here
For after all these year
Nothing has gotten better here

Gentrification attempts to mask the past
But after all these years
I'm held captive
In areas my reflections
Are hindered by the same transgressions
Horrible impressions
That don't define most of us at all

Who dream to be
Living life
Picturly
In the breeze
Flowing free
With no  pressures
Stressing Constantly
UnBothering
By the  issues
That saturate
Every place
presently
I'm part of those who yearn an escape
From souls
Resigned to the monotony of captivity

Adding to my lack of serenity

I've tried to run
I've tried to hide
Until one fatefilled day came
Causing me to realize

Under the firmament
Within this  dome  of purgatory
A trap which seems permanent
