What If

What if I was someone else
Would I still be friends with myself?
Would I be the bane of my existence
Or would I love myself like I think I would?

They say perfects don’t exist,
Well, I’m a perfectionist.
What if I don’t become who I want to be?
Whilst surviving
Would I live?
Or would I cease to exist?

This is my latibule
But I wanna runaway,
Because
What if I was somewhere else
Would I long to be here
Or would I be content there?

This moment of epiphany overwhelms me
For what keeps me awake
Are what ifs on my existence
