The Christmas Skinny

I wrote to Prof Arab
And I asked Dr Jew
I spoke with Mrs Christian
And typed to ChatGPT too

One of them said it was spiritual
The other, it was not real
Another said academic fiction
The last, it was the real deal

It began in the 4th century
In a place called Rome
By the 12th century
St Nich had entered every home

As for names it's a heck of a list
SinterKlaas, Kanakaloka, Aba Chaghaloo and Santy
124 I ended up counting
Santa is multilingually fancy

If you want the real answer
You go visit the man
So I headed to Santa's House
With notebook and pen in hand

Yo, Baba Noel, I chimed
I'm here for the skinny
Give me the full breakdown
Before you disappear down a chimney

Baboushka took a deep breath
And he looked me in the eye
Sit down my friend
Eat this homemade mince pie

Christmas is for everyone
Doesn't matter your belief
It's about family and friends
Don't worry, I'll be brief

It's about gathering together
To share love, peace and joy
From one heart to another
Really simple, no hoi polloi

Smile at those around you
No matter who they are
And trust that real love
Will take us all very far

I became distracted
At a reindeer neigh
And when I looked back to Santy
He was off in his flying sleigh
