Traveler In the Snow

White is the snow,
When winter comes,
As I look, I know,
My face, it numbs.

As I walk through the white,
And it wraps me like a ring.
How I long for the sight,
Of the beautiful spring.

My brain swims around,
And my hands feel numb,
I can’t make a sound,
So Heaven, here I come.

Then all of a sudden,
When my throat gets tight,
My body has deadened,
And there’s a beautiful light.

No more agony,
And no more pain,
In Heaven I am happy,
With Jesus again!
