Scratching At My Back

When I look in the mirror, that's just not what I wanna be, that's just not me.
Why do I feel this way, take away this aching pain.
I'm lost, I'm lost and I want to be found, I'm drowning in this shallow ground.
Can this bottle numb the pain cause I don't know how much longer I can refrain.
The voices are getting louder, you're not good enough, why not just take the latter.
I'm dying inside, no place to hide.
Do I ride or die.
Am I too far gone or should I just hold on.
I see the light but something else too. Reminds me of the night, darkness is that you?

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to PS. May I welcome you likewise with the love of the Lord WHO is the SAVIOUR and Who can give you genuine sense of belongingness. According to the Bible's John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
