Which Love Was True

Success left my hand,
Abandoned me and had thrown me out of my dreamland,
Broke my trust, killed my faith, took my only reason to live.
I crumbled down to the ground and wondered how would I again believe,
I called the lords, begged my love back,
No one answered, silence came down upon me.
Just couldn't stop gazing at that sidewalk.
I looked by my side in hope of finding you,
I found Failure saying, "I will be with you."
Failure was too jealous to share me, so he gave others a hefty shove,
He held me close tightly,
So that no one can come close to me slightly.
He taught me the ways of going back to you,
Imbuing me with the quality of silence or words a few.
He chiseled me out and polished me into a shimmering diamond,
So that I can bind you in a strong chain of love bond,
I shouted at him told him to go away,
but never did he even not for a day.
I held his hands and stood on the cliff's edge,
I asked him to leave me or die with me at this stage.
Smiled and said, " I am blessed that you chose me to be with you and forgot success."
I ran away from there because I didn't wanna choose him at any stage more or less.
I kept running away from Failure, kept hating him,
But he loved me as much as I hated him.
Kept improving me selflessly,
though he knew someday I will leave him definitely,
Oneday Time came with a news that Success wanna give me a chance.
On hearing this news Failure was filled with abhorrence,
Time took both of us to the meeting place,
I saw my love standing just two steps away,
Only one word could cross my lips, "Success."
I took one step where I was alone,
all on my own.
I showed him what Failure taught me.
He was surprised to see me so perfect and free.
Mesmerized seeing my perfection his admiration got changed into affection.
He opened his hands to call me for a hug,
I jumped into his arms without a moment's late,
as if under the influence of a drug.
He grabbed and kissed me all over,
A feeble sound crossed my ears as someone said, "I will be there for you forever. "
I turned back and saw Failure with a smile and a hidden tear in his eye.
I bade him goodbye as soon as possible because I didn't care he lives or die.
Success held my hand and we walked to Earth's Lyls and lures.
I realized that the way he held me and walked was similar to that of Failure's.
I stopped and asked him," How do you know Failure?
Tell me the truth be honest and pure."
He narrated me the story of when they were made,
"We had no differences so we had to choose between your happiness and unhappiness as it was said.
I chose to be with you when you are in pleasure,
Failure taught me every point to become your love treasure.
He is foolish, he chose to be with you in your sad time,
And never did he want to appear in your stories and rhyme.
He chose to change your imperfection into perfection and empathise your position,
I only chose your perfection to emphasise my worldly position.
Success ' heinous laugh reiterated through my ears and brain,
Never had I seen such malevolence driving me into deep layers of nervous strain.
I ran back to the place where Failure left me last,
my eyes searched him as if I am lost.
I looked around and found Success dripping with me in the heavenly rain.
Rain drops washed down my face, changed into tears just as disguise of feelings that I refrain.
I had no choice, I smiled and kept my truth abstain.
And, sighed at heart, "Failure please hold my hand and teach me once again."

I ask to myself everyday through as older I grew,
Which love was true?
