Freedom
I knew my weakness
as just a dream of young love,
terrorizing and tantalizing
with emotions in the dark,
missing the beauty of love.
With all the burning desires,
bursting its requiem,
of a dying love.
A pain so skin deep,
with memories so visible,
yet concealed far behind!
When the hate surrenders,
and tears fall down my cheek,
my mind sets my soul free;
knowing that when the sun rises,
I smile and wash away my face,
With a ray of hope,
a ray love, a ray of faith,
for a new beginning..
and that is when,
I seek my true freedom!!
