The Green Leaf
Dancing on the branches
of lemon orange and whatsoever;
depicting the glory of a grown up tree;
some pale yellow some light green
and some brownish Orange.
contrasting finely with the shiny blue sky;
creating a sweet smelling breeze
out of the soil they gathered from the Earth;
not thinking anything;
twisting and bending on their own;
and exhibiting the same design,
uniquely preserving
each one of them's individuality.
cherishing the tree,
to bear fruits one day;
knowing or without knowing,
after that they will fall apart;
completing their purpose
of rejuvenating millions and billions of life
not even once asking for a thanksgiving.
just spreading the fragrance,
of self purposelessness;
expecting nothing in return,
the green leaf dancing,
seeming to talk with the air;
effortlessly swinging in all directions,
seeming to laugh hilariously;
Rustling with the other leaves
seeming to whisper in the ears
of the moist air,
their humorous moments of fun.
