Sonnet 1

The cold fluffy snow hits the ground
Like a white fluffy blanket
Trees covered in icicles as clear as a crystal
The crunchy, fluffy snow
And the cold harsh wind
Represent a time of year that is cold and brisk
The frozen pond gleaming in the sun
As children skate for fun
Birds in the sky flying south
Escaping the cold, freezing air
The wind picking up as trees start to shake
Snow piling up as children end their play
While, the cold weather is fun and all
Winter is the time of year that’s fun for all
