Reflection of Love

As i lay here and think about life, you come to mind.
A rhythmic pulse starts in my mind over and over again,
with time a new lyric is added.
As a new life is built from a foundation of love and security
I have found you, you wrap your arms around me so tightly that ambitions of escaping are at
a zero percent chance.
A blanket of comfort is what you place around me, warming and nourishing every part of me.
i have found a rock to lean on, one that will support me in every thing I do.
That rhythmic pulse has gotten more intense and demanding
Ordering me to watch and follow it more closely
Duplicating its every move.
As I thought to myself
How could this be?
A love so strong and pure as God,
A love that is worth waiting and preparing for,
A love so new yet vintage,
A love that is willing to sacrifice everything for me.
It is not wrong to want a perfect love
Never leaving you,
Never abusing you,
Never lying to you.
It is normal to a perfect love that spoils you,
perfect love that honors you,
perfect love that is constant and never every once in a while.
It is very often that I think i don't deserve love,
that I have abused love,
that I have shut love up in a hidden room
away from me,
away from my life.
Truth is love come in every description
every character that either God or man has made.
I didn't invent love, you didn't invent love,
love was given from God and it was intended to be shared between us.
As I lay here in a still-paused position
Love has arrested me and tied me down
love has driven me to a place of well-being,
a place of peace,
a place where there is no hurt and where promises are kept.
Love has stripped me naked and clothed me with a new sense of fashion,.
Love has invited itself into this house that I call my body,
cleaned up and made new.
love searched my soul, made my inner dreams come true.
Love made me,
Love formed my life,
Love gave me you.
