Father

Father I repent, I request an audience with you
I'm in error, I make no excuse, fully aware of its consequences
my heart wants what it wants, there's a war in my members
my flesh desires that which you forbid, I cannot ignore
that which is defined as an abomination in your sight
I wrestle with what's wrong , and what's right when it comes to this
I'm in love and I've never experienced this with a man , as planned
for it was a woman that has stolen my heart, she holds the key
fulfilling that longing, yearning to be loved, her consumes me
she filled that emptiness, completing me
father I'm wrapped up and tied up in her love
I must be honest for where I stand places me in
a place of judgement with you this is the deepest
most intense love I've ever experienced, and yet I
don't want to hurt you, nor do I wanna grieve your heart
what must I do? for to let her go , I will be sacrificing a part of me
