Reactive In Death

You all have gathered, though I don’t know why
To mourn a life that was a woeful lie
My hypocrisy seemed to show no bounds
And left you in pain, with no closure found
I can’t take back my hurtful ways
Though I tried in my last dying days
I wish I had shown it unto my last breath
I failed to express emotion, even in death
So I leave you now to mourn and grieve
In hopes that tomorrow sheds some relief
For if one thing you should take from my strife
Is live for today and live your very best life

what a coincidence. I too posted my words on my death, just now :) I can feel the pain and regret. Yes, its equally painful for the one who dies! True emotions in ink!
