Remember

Remember when I used to hold your hand walking through the city at night.
Remember when our eyes caught each other and our faces smiled.
Remember being angry then having me to make you happy.
Remember taking long walks that felt like walks to heaven.
Remember how we each depended on us both to be there when we needed
someone.
I remember your beautiful face, your beautiful eyes, your smile, the way you
walked, the way you talked to me.
I remember how your hand would be folded around me and your face was right
there telling me you loved me.
Remember how your tears dripped out of your eyes and right into mine.
I remember everything about you and I will never forget how much I love you.
I hope you remember as much as I do.
