Hard To Let Go

I knew for weeks that I would eventually have to say goodbye.
Why you left so soon… only God knows why.

I keep thinking how this could be? Why did this happen?
Losing you is something I never even imagined.

So many things I wish I could have told you.
If only you could have pulled through.

For long I didn’t see you but I was missing you.
And I hope… you’re missing me too.

What I don’t get is that you weren’t old. You had done absolutely nothing wrong.
All we can do now is hold on.

Hold onto the memories that we had each day.
Just hold on and pray.

I love you Uncle Donald we’ll never be apart.
You’ll be forever in my mind and in my heart.
