I am a researcher, author and poet and my writing is deeply rooted in lived experience and explores themes of mental health, military life, and personal reflection. I am a Psychology Major Graduate, with a Postgraduate in Science, and a M.Sc. in Counselling & Psychotherap.y. I am a clinical professional working with Veterans. I come from a family with strong Intergenerational tradition of service. I have proudly served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Medical Corps & now a proud Veteran. These inspirations are embodied in my current work, Letters from the Soul, Vol. 2: Lost in the Shadows – A Collection of Military Poetry which serves as poignant tribute to the memories and experiences of those who have served. As a researcher my studies examine contemporary challenges in psychological wellbeing, Veterans, addiction treatment, and service innovation with a shared focus on transition, implementation, and person-centred care. Collectively they highlight the gap between formal systems and lived experience, and the need for responsive, adaptive supports, Alonside research I have produced publications on military mental health. I have also authored mental health support booklets addressing wellbeing across the lifespan. Whether through leadership, advocacy, research, or literature, my mission remains the same: to foster connection, compassion, and courage, helping veteran communities heal, grow, and find strength in their own stories..
