Him

Him 
The sight of him was so perfect
His smile so bright like the sun on a hot summer day
The smell of his cologne and aftershave 
His eyes like the oceans of Hawaii 
The taste of his lips were of sweet sugar
The thump of his heart played like a song to me 
The trees seemed to dance like he was the choreographer
He felt like a perfect combination of velvet and saw dust
Not too soft, but not too rough  
And everything I heard from him was like a melody. 
He never worried about being someone else
He never let me think I wasn't the one
It was just me and him against the world
My parents admired him
I admired him
He was my safety 
He was my home
He is and will always be my person
