Never Mine

I fell in love with the first word you spoke
You grabbed my heart and refused to let it go
You’re funny, happy, silly, everything I need
Your smile makes my heart flutter
And that makes my soul feel complete

Now, I know that this life is not fair
So, if you decide to move on – you can go
But know that I will always care

You’re that one thing I really needed
and I want to keep you forever,
But I know that may not be possible…
So I’m happy for the moments spend together

Sometimes things got a little bad
Yet I’m grateful
For the time you gave me was life changing
and worth every heartbroken tear shed
-	No matter how painful

Misunderstood

Yeah we met and it started out great
We didn’t need words – we were in sync
But then something went wrong and it all came apart
That synchronisation started to fade

I thought it would be love at first sight
But I got it all wrong and then started a fight
-	That I never knew how to end
Was I missing something or did I just misunderstand?
Cause every time I turned left, you would go right
I would reach out and you retracted your hand

In reality it all lasted about a second
But to my heart it was like a lifetime of heartache, confusion and disappointment
And worse of all – you never even cared
Or maybe you did? I don’t know
Never seemed like it…

Lie To Me

Baby you were my everything
But you broke me, you changed me, you replaced me

I never expected to like you or even Love you
But I did
I gave you my everything, my every feeling, my every thought, my every second
I liked the feeling, I was happy, and you were Perfect

Only you weren’t
I just didn’t know what you did behind my back…

Was any of it true?
Was I worth anything to you?

Dollhouse

They see you and they want you
They take you and then play with you
They move you and they use you
Then they get bored and leave you

They lie about you, they tell stories
They play the victim and have no worries
You’re the bad guy, cause you fought back
They break you and turn your soul black

In the end you’re broken and alone
Cause they already have a home
You turn back and keep quiet as a mouse
Just you ALONE in your empty dollhouse

Boygirl

Every morning, his face, the only sight I wish to see.

Better hurry now, can’t let her get away from me

It’s like he’s pulling me and I got to obey

She’s mine today, no more running away

It’s a routine; we’ve been doing this for so long

Right at her side, that’s where I belong

He’s looking at me with that calm morning blue eyes

Her smile even more beautiful than the brightest sunrise

Still holding my gaze, he’s walking towards me

I’m in a trance, is this an angel I see?

Can’t get the words out, I’m struggling to speak

Girl, here it goes, finally today we truly meet

His lips starting to move, what does he say?

The first word, very casually I just smile and say… HEY!

Broken Homes

I look around and all I see is confusion
People walking around with happy faces of illusion
Their hearts filled with emotion, but empty with love
Everyone unhappy, just calling the other persons bluff
A battlefield, I never thought I would be
Now it’s just the war inside of me

Left and right word-bombs are falling
I’m screaming, fighting, but no one even hears me calling
Inside we are all slowly dying
Because there’s a truth each of us are denying

Friends come first and family have to wait till later
But when you turn it around they all just call you a hater
People get into your head; they say it’s for the best
But let me tell you, every day is just filled with more stress

Now please let me make it better
-Let me make it right
If you’ll give me a chance
I would like to stay and fight

I Am What I Am

I am what I am
I’ve always been there with them
I am what and I am when
They write about me with a heart shaped pen

I am what I am
I go where and when
I was, I will be and I am
I am at my best when forbidden to them

I am what I am
I can be a song, a tune or a gem
Different for ladies, children and men
Create, destroy and start all over again

I am what I am
I am wisdom, knowledge and power forever till the end
I am how you choose – a wish, a miracle, a curse or a stem
I am love…

Yet again
I simply am what I am

Because of You

Because of you I exist
Because of you I am missed
Because of you I am blessed
Because of you I can eat, breath & rest
Because of you I am able to feel, thus knowing your love for me is very real
Because of you I know the truth, still so early in my youth
Because of you I have a friend, now until the very end
Because of you I can say, don’t worry we’ll get there someday

Thanks for always being there, thanks my loving pappa bear

My Love

Loving you is a dream come true
Loving you is the easiest thing I can do
Loving you completes me so
My love for you can only grow
Loving you is what I was born to do
For my future I see only with you

Broken Soul

Life is great
Life has meaning

Life is misery
My soul depleting

Life is colourful, shining with joy
Life makes me feel like a broken and used toy

Life is worth living –
A journey I am eager to complete

Life is a battle I am currently losing –
Ending in disappointment and defeat…
