A Captivating Rose

A Captivating Rose A rose's petals are tender to touch The delicate nature is pridefully pure That blazing beauty entices the eyes While their thorns may leave you sore They hold a scent of carnal passion A deep perfume that dreams of love They dare reveal their hearts, like fashion That crimson glow is too beloved A rose will drive you mad with envy And transform your mind with greed and sin They will grasp your heart and soul As those thorns slowly sink in

Lullaby

Lullaby Hush now sweet angel and slowly drift away As night has taken the light from the day So rest now my angel and dream of a land With flowers like oceans and meadows like sand Play there sweet angel and forget all your fears Let laughter replace all the pain and the tears Sleep my sweet child in night's quiet peace Let go of your troubles, all sorrows release Hush now sweet angel and slowly drift away As night has now taken the light from the day So rest now my angel and dream of a land With flowers like oceans and meadows like sand

A Baptism In Blood

A Baptism in Blood When tragedy cuts clean through your hopes and your dreams like a razor through flesh All that's left is a mess Your blood pools on the floor Taking breath is a chore Nothing left worth the fight We reach out to the light In the cold grasp of hell Should we give our farewell To this world and this life With the edge of a knife All the lies that we give for the lives that we live With this habit we feed We're just chasing the need Down through the rabbit hole At the cost of your soul And yet, why should we care When there’s nothing left there With that last shred of hope Long since traded for dope I let out one last laugh As I slide in the bath With those demons at bay The whole world melts away And with my final breath I'll be flirting with Death

The Loom of Breksta

The Loom of Breksta Quivering tongues writhe and race Whispers fortell her cool embrace Her touch so soft a gentle breeze A pleasing caress to russel the leaves The land reborn before my eyes Filled with dark and foreign skies An offer come to set me free My heart to pound, my mind to flee Claim the beauty of this night Beneath her silver enchanted light Embrace the soft and flowing breeze Adopt the rhythm of the trees To dance beneath her silver glow My bitter sense of time will slow The gentle night like myth and mist The light of day will steal her kiss Unfinished dreams leave cruel regrets Unyielding love one soon forgets The night my dreams our love her loom This mournful morning’s come too soon

A Crafty Invitation

A Crafty invitation Cut him open, just go nuts Reach inside and pull out his guts Cut out his eyes, cut out his nose Work your way down as you go Use a little ingenuity And cut him good for all to see Don’t be afraid to make a mess Join the pumpkin carving contest

Neon Night

Neon Night The city dreams in neon lights Quietly hiding our secret lives This changing world, a hidden hell The worker ants with human shells The city's servants smiling slaves The thinkers cower in their caves Electrical hearts told to beat Mechanical life; human defeat The soul of freedom gladly sold Our happy lives a tale untold

The Labyrinth

The labyrinth Wrapped up in my web of lies There is nothing I truly trust Corrupted by what I despise This heart has turned to dust I am lost within myself Trapped in this labyrinth of lies Blind and numb to who I am Too long I'd cower and hide What path remains unbroken Which door can set me free From deep within this labyrinth This labyrinth within me

The Craft

The Craft One must die to be reborn From witch's rite the soul is torn Baptized in the flames of death Then live again from magic breath A witch's soul has seen beyond And I have grasped that broken dawn So I invoke this binding spell Send my foes to burn in hell Let their dance be one to see With voices pure from agony And let the world witness my wrath Light their dreams with hell's hot bath And show them sights that braise the soul Let them know this witch's role And warn the ones that come my way To cross this witch, what price they pay

Asleep In the Snow

Asleep in the Snow I can't live the way I wanna I just live the way I can Though I can't say you're gonna I just wish you'd understand In this life there are winners And losers all the same But in this pool of sinners I'm a fool who feeds the flame If time could heal the broken Maybe we could learn to grow But dreams are just delusions In a field of frozen snow To rest amongst the snowflakes To dream of warmth and spring Numb to life and numb to strife Just numb to everything

Doubt

Doubt This poets night is masked in lies The day that comes my sight despise Awake to dream to write to scheme The words I clean refine and preen Forlorn the days when poets fight A pen like light revealed the night Blunt yet sharp both bright and dark The art alive so real so stark My back now bent my head now bald This pen now dull the writing scrawled Is it empty thoughts that fill these lines Have we lost our muse our wits our spines
