Fetta Cheese Poem
They ask me,
‘What will you be?’
The answer is inevitable
Although not always understandable
They say to me,
‘You should do this’
The answer is direct
But at the same time ambiguous
They ask me,
‘When will you grow up?’
The answer is never
My heart will stay young forever
I ask myself
‘Can you, do it?’
The answer is…

Fetta Cheese Poem
The uglier older sister
The one who’s always met with judgemental eyes
The repercussions of Euphoria usually fall on her
But all she envied was her sister’s ability
To induce such strong feelings of happiness
Though her sister boasted this power, it never lasted long
Each time one after another, they all left
Returning to a regular monotonous state
That part she never envied
If she were to have such an ability, she would
Never allow pain to enter the minds of those she meets
These hopeless wishes would never cease, for most of whom she greets
Dwell with her in the depths of her discontent forever

Fetta Cheese Poem
Be elegant
Hold your chin high, posture!
Always strive to be relevant
With those who lie low, do not bother
Embody allure
Be a symbol of affection
Keep up with the best couture
Be of fair complexion
Resemble a painting
Hold ‘good-selfishness’
Never be close to fading
Never succumb to pettishness
Live as perfection
Show it to be effortless
Be proud of your reflection
Be the most generous
Embrace your beauty… though it is only a facade

Fetta Cheese Poem
Mirror, mirror on the wall
As the cool winds begin, from Fall
A looming figure stood over me, skinny and tall
The face covered with a garment, suppressing a call
“Help,” I hear a faint whisper, “nothing is good, nothing at all”
“You are not worthy, you look like a rag doll”
The figure made me feel so small, suddenly she began to scrawl
‘I AM’ the letters were scratched on the wall
I close my eyes and try to stall
My eyes opened and written on the wall,
Was ‘YOU’, and in my hands, lay my shawl

Fetta Cheese Poem
Can you feel it?
My heart thumping
Like the rhythmic beats from a drum,
Waiting for your love.
Can you see it?
My eyes tearing up,
Creating warm pools of water
In my cold empty eyes.
Can you hear me?
My voice crying out,
Hoping for your return
With each passing thought of you
My heart grows to a distraught rhythm.
My eyes filled with water, flood my face.
My voice breaks from days of wailing.
If only...you'd come back.
If only I could feel, see and hear you again.

Fetta Cheese Poem
Why do you strain me?
O, troublesome conscience
Latching on, hoping I will succumb
Listening to your unearthly nonsense
Why do you hurt me?
O, superficial voice
Making me judge by allurement
Rather than giving me a choice
Why can’t I?
O, restraining utterance
You see me fail before I even begin
Treating me the same in every occurrence
Why do you desert me?
O, ever-present being
Ironic it seems to say this
O! inner voice of feeling
Leave me! I will have bliss

Fetta Cheese Poem
Someone’s at the door, banging away
With each thud, I wish to scream out and say
Help me please, do not leave, stay
My lip quivers in fear, as on my bed, I lay
They are all gone, gone, faraway
The bangs stop, leaving a timber spray
My chilling blood freezes my vein, hardened like clay
I pull down my sheet and open my eyes after a final pray
The figure stood above me, “Spare me” I say

Fetta Cheese Poem
Humour found everywhere
Laughing at all, without a care
Humour in death and all its grief
Humour with falls, lasting very brief
Humour in the depth of unforgettable tragedies
Humour at the expense of some-else’s agonies
Humour at the taste of bitter food
Humour in veering away from good
Laughs at the joy of new life
Tears when dwelling in strife
Laughs at the death of the horrid
Tears after events, loud and florid
Found in different things, numerous
It’s really is... quite humorous

Fetta Cheese Poem
You have everything you will ever need
In this moment
I can tell you a thousand times
But you still won’t believe me
You will change the world
It’s just within your reach
I can feel this a thousand times
But you don’t believe me
Keep telling me, keep feeling this, one day I may believe you

Fetta Cheese Poem
Melt me across a sidewalk and walk all over me.
I hope I at least smooth out the cracks.
I hope one less person trips over because of me.
Crave away my flaws and make me into the most beautiful sculpture.
I hope no one sees my shavings.
I hope you look at me in awe.
Burn me when you want and watch me crumble over time.
I hope I can be bright enough for you.
I hope I don’t hurt anyone.
Tear me down and replace me.
I hope I didn’t do anything wrong.
I hope I was useful to you
