Unknown Future

They ask me,
‘What will you be?’
The answer is inevitable
Although not always understandable

They say to me,
‘You should do this’
The answer is direct
But at the same time ambiguous

They ask me,
‘When will you grow up?’
The answer is never
My heart will stay young forever

I ask myself
‘Can you, do it?’
The answer is…

I, as well, keep a firm grip on the child inside, (some people call me immature - I've been called WAY worse, lol), and I take pride in it! This is a wonderful write, "Fetta", and it put a smile on my face. Blessings! :-)
