Inflation

Inflation

Inflation, Inflation, call it suffering or condemnation.
I work so work so hard with aches and pains, call me a slave but I’ll try to save.
I try my best to keep on top I even pay my bills on time.
Yet I’m stuck with in this rot, no way out just bad luck.
In the mirror, all I see is the collapse of my economy.

Inflation, Inflation, call it suffering or condemnation.
Always had a stroke of hope but now I’m just flat out broke.
I have a job that’s 9 to 5 but my pay can’t be defined.
With overrated rent to pay I must go without food today.
It puts a pressure on my shoulder I think it’s time for fiscal measures.

Inflation, Inflation, call it suffering or condemnation.
It appears the government does care about my big downfall.
Or even if I take it up with city hall.
We’re all just scared so we pretend we don’t care.
with rising wages and higher taxes will we ever recover from these Crises?

Inflation, Inflation, call it suffering or condemnation.
My moneys shrinking the values loss.
I couldn’t be save in a flip of a toss.
The economy sinking but no one is thinking.
The rich don’t care for the poor.
Because the rich can invest and the poor can only wait for the day that they rest.

Inflation, Inflation, call it suffering or condemnation.
will there ever be a way to ease my load or will I forever be on this road?
With total defeat, I’ll leave this place with nothing of my own, not even the hole in the ground. For my money is not worth a penny for its value is lost.
