Infatuation

How long must I wait
to be held in your arms?
To have you hold me close
and protect me from harm?
What must I do
to make you realize how I feel?
To prove that I’m different from her?
And that my love is for real?
What must I say?
And how should I say it?
That it’s you and only you
with which I long to commit?
How should I act
whenever you are near?
How can I show you
that my love is sincere?
I want you to know
but I’m way to scared
of how’d you react
once my feelings are bared
So I’ll keep it to myself
and deal with the situation
For I’ve never been trapped
by such an infatuation

Eternal Bruises

The pain washes me like a tidal wave
These bruises the worst of all that you gave
Those angry words you’ve yelled have warped my mind
Against all the love I gave you turned blind
I tried and tried to get away
But you always knew the right things to say
My mind is betrayed by my heart
Which belonged to you from the very start
The excuses I invented nobody would buy
The only way out would be for me to die
Over me you had total control
You wanted everything including my soul
After each of our fighting sessions
I sank into deeper depressions
You never understood me or even tried
And when the truth came out it was all denied
The torture you put me through was so intense
The things you did didn’t make any sense
I still have nightmares of how it was
Whenever you got drunk or mildly buzzed
My scars are still here
A memento of my constant fear
The bruises have faded and gone away
The ones on the inside will forever stay

X

a wave washes over me
a moment in suspended time
the beautiful colors I can see
rainbows so delicate and fine
i can feel the love in the room
surrounding me on all sides
it’s taking me out of my gloom
it’s the best of all I’ve tried
my pulse begins to quicken
as more is brought out
the plot begins to thicken
as it’s passed about
i take yet another hit
i can’t erase my smile
with just this little bit
i’ll be gone for quite awhile

Just Waiting

Crimes of Passion
Not yet committed
I’m just waiting for you to say the word

Captivating Symphonies
Not yet composed
I’m just waiting for you to play the first note

Breathtaking Sculptures
Not yet created
I’m just waiting for you to give me inspiration

Compelling Heights
Not yet reached
I’m just waiting for you to take me there

Long Awaited Feelings
Not yet felt
I’m just waiting to feel them with you

Extensive Knowledge
Not yet known
I’m just waiting for you to teach me

Insurmountable Memories
Not yet forgotten
I’m just waiting for you to help me forget

Pure Ecstasy
Not yet experienced
I’m just waiting to experience it with you

Inescapable Loneliness
Not yet sated
I’m just waiting for you

Nobody Knows

Nobody knows
Bout me and you
Nobody knows
Bout what we do
They all love to talk
When they see us flirt
But nobody saw
Your hand slide up my skirt
Its pure ecstasy
When we’re all alone
When you make me sweat
And when you make me moan
If only they knew
Bout me and you
Bout what we feel
And all we do

We just have to keep it on the DL
Act like there’s nothing to tell
I’ll meet you over your place
And put it down on your face
All up on the counter
Or maybe in your shower
You’re more than just my lover
Like you, there is no other

I love sneaking
Over to you
With my thigh-highs on
And my stripper shoes
You like to watch
While I dress and tease
Showing you all you want
Than getting on my knees
Your hands pulling my hair
As you growl and moan
It’s more than your mind
That I’ve just blown

Love

Your lips upon mine
your hands in my hair
Our love is pure and sublime
filled with trust and care
We share a rare connection
that few are lucky enough to find
You give me a sense of protection
and total peace of mind
You complete me in every way
and send my soul flying
I love you more with each day
a love unconditional and undying
I could live forever in your arms
with my head laying on your chest
I’m safe from all of life’s harms
and finally able to rest
I have complete faith in you
and everlasting trust
I will be eternally true
and do whatever I must
I long to be by your side
for the rest of your life
My heart is open wide
my dream to be your wife

Untitled

Changes occur
Nothing remains
Those who loved
Now hate
Those who cherished
Now despise
Seasons come
And seasons go
The passage of time
Destructs all
Loneliness sets in
No one is left untouched
All will suffer
Eventually
Promises are made
Some actually kept
In a world
As shallow and decrepit
As our own
No one is safe

As I Walk Away

You thought I was some little girl
And you could play with my heart
But I am wiser than you thought
And knew your game from the start

But somehow you broke down my wall
And got underneath my skin
But that’s my entire fault
For letting you get in

For all of the times you made me cry
For every one of those tears
For all the love that I proclaimedcc
That went right through your ears

I’m leaving and not looking back
No matter what you say
Just enjoy your last sight of me
As I turn and walk away

To David

Beautiful bronze eyes
gazing into me
My heart is open wide
for only you to see

Your laughter is like music
and your smile the sunshine
Your kisses are sweeter
than any pink wine

I’ve never been so close
to anyone ever before
five minutes after I leave
I miss you even more

I long to be with you
for the rest of my life
My biggest dream
is becoming your wife

Contridictions

I think I love you
but I’m not really sure
You’ve brought me more pain
than anyone should endure
What kind of hold
have you gotten over me?
How did you kill my voice?
And make me unable to see?
Before I realized it
you were under my skin
If only I could change things
and prevent this sin
You’re kisses contain poison
that slowly invades my soul
Feelings overwhelm me
that I just can’t control
I don’t want you in my life
you’re not right for me
You’re turning me into someone
I just don’t want to be
But I can’t live with out you
you’ve affected me so much
You can brighten my world
with the slightest touch
I am so confused
I don’t know what to do
If I should stay here
or completely forget you
