Nothing remains
Those who loved
Now hate

Seasons come

The passage of time
Destructs all
Loneliness sets in
No one is left untouched
All will suffer
Eventually
Promises are made
Some actually kept
In a world
As shallow and decrepit
As our own
No one is safe
