Sarah Kettle Poem
When you exhale
Into my life
I become
Nothing more
Than
A bubble dweller
Sometimes you inflate
My dwelling with
gentle whispers
Of wind...
Increasing my self
Esteem with every
Every breath
I rely on you
For my
Habitat
But is this fair?
What if you're not
Conscious?
What if you
Forget
I live here?
What if you get
tired of blowing
Bubbles?
Will I
Cease to
exist?
Does my
happiness
depend on
The strength
Of your
Lungs?
I long to be
Free
Outside the transparent
Walls
Connected to
More than
Just you
At last my dwelling
Has bursted
I'm independent
Of you
Now you are
The proud owner
Of a bursted
bubble
Please morn me
And wish it wasn't
Over
Reload your
bubble making gun
Gently breath
In my solution
Until I pop
Find new life
For I am a bubble dweller
And you are
An engineer
Of bubbles

Dear vibrant artist
Magic is bestowed on you
Master transformer
Lead the way through the dark night
Your call illuminates souls

Sarah Kettle Poem
I make profit
I cause loss
I shoot up
I slide down
I change
I remain the same
I get applauses
I get screamed at
I am owned
I am released
Invest in me
I am a stock market

Sarah Kettle Poem
Out on the water kayaking
Slowly tracking
Gentle movements
Practicing improvements
Suddenly the wind picks up
At first a small hiccup
Must seek solid ground
Before I drowned
Stay focused and unafraid
Good plan laid
Each stroke leads to shore
So I paddle a little more
The storm is here
I feel the fear
Rain comes down
From all around
Making it hard to see
What’s in front of me
So I ask for help
It’s heartfelt
Suddenly a boater appears
Out of nowhere, Cheers
I am saved
This experience engraved

Sarah Kettle Poem
There once was
A man
named Randy
Night after night
I gave him candy.......
I fell for his
republican
demeanour
It actually made me
Keener
I loved his buttoned
Up shirts
and this is what
drove me
to flirt....
His trifling stare
All his grey hair
Added even more
flare
I begged him to love
me
I begged him
to hug
me....
To which he grinned
and said much
To my chagrin
I need no wife
I have a life!

Sarah Kettle Poem
To All you Pythagorean's
I love your triangles
Figuring your area
gives me conclusions.
I reach for the fourth
dimension
And shadows fill my
head,
Welcome guests that
are dead.

Sarah Kettle Poem
Awhile back my Doc suggested
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Would be time well invested
I looked at him and said,
My personality is not defective
Why bother
Being reflective
So it took awhile for me
To see
All our thoughts
Are key
Avoidance, negativity and
Distorted thinking
Have always left me with
A feeling I was sinking
Now I'm skilled at
Challenging my perception
And this has lead
To a big correction

Sarah Kettle Poem
Fight back tears
Certain fears
Felt rejection
Choose election
Acceptance of self
Use a book upon a shelf
Look into why
Let that little girl cry
Stay in tune
For what’s coming soon
Is big change from within
With the guidance and love from Him
He knows my name
And what I fear
I hear His answers clear
Thank you for this day
Forever with Him is what I pray
Thank you God for all You’ve done
Got me through when I was young
Now I’m in just today
Holding Your hand
One of many in the band
