We Are Made In the Image and Likeness of God

WE ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD
Beautiful eyes, that hardly lie,Wonderful lips and curvy hips.Hair that drapes over your neck,And a face that glows just for the sake,You are indeed a wonder of God’s creation. But again what can i say,We are all made in the image n likeness of God.
I glance and see life,
Life in its simplicity of forms,
You smile and I see beauty,
Beauty in the mystery of creation,
You walk, and I see royalty,
Royalty complete with nobility,’
Tell me,
Are you an Egyptian goddess?
Or a queen in the game of chess,
Coz to me,
You are God’s proudest piece of art,
But again what do I know,
I know, only that which i ought to know.

Is all this true?
Is all this really you?
I look at myself for an answer,
Answers that can help me kill this doubtful cancer,
Then suddenly I see her in me,
And me in her,
Wait!
Is this even possible?
I ask myself,
But then, I remember ha-ha! Oooh!
We are all made in the likeness and image of God

Climate Change

This is from the deepest part of my heart, I know it will hurt, so you need to be alert, but first, let me remove my hat.
Climate change has come to have a revenge.
Drought, famine and floods are claiming lives,
Men, children, and even our wives.
Yet we are doing nothing.
Our environment that was once beautiful with fresh air everywhere is now nowhere.
Instead of planting trees,
We go down on our knees,
Trying to please,
This God that gave us trees.
That’s why everyday we mourn,
We wonder why we are prone,
To these diseases that wouldn’t leave us alone.
Instead, on and on,
It goes on killing those that we call our own.
Preachers and teachers,
Everyday they teach us,
How to take care of our environment.
Yet we just stare,
Pretending to be there,
And in reality we are sleeping and dreaming,
Forgetting that this calamity will fight us for eternity.
Drooo! Droo! I listen to the sounds,
Once again I know they are around,
And another tree is going to be on the ground,
Later, they will get a crown,
A Few shillings that will only buy a gown.
The remaining trees stare in desperation,
Yearning for restoration,
Waiting for their day,
So that they can obey,
This order of the day.
They are called charcoal burners,
They say they earn from us,
But where will this lead us,
Yet there are so many that depend on us.

My Gentleman

You are handsome, you are smart,
The one that has stolen my heart.
You are gentle you are kind,
And you are always on my mind.
You are the reason why my stomach is full of butterflies,
And the one who told me I got the most beautiful eyes.
Whenever you tell me that I mean a lot to you,
In that moment I don’t know what I’m supposed to do,
Cause you are caressing my soul with your wonderful words,
That’s the reason why I’d feel at loss of words,
I have never felt this way before,
It’s like winning a high score,
I’m so glad to have you in my life,
And maybe one day you can call me your wife,
You are all I ever wanted for a man,
Respect, appreciation and love for a woman.
You are creative, you are strong,
The one that never gets me wrong,
You are lovely you are fine,
And you’ll always be mine.

The Black Woman That You Are

The way you talk, the way you walk,
The way you smile, the way you lie,
The way you eat, the way you seat,
The way you breath, the way you feed,
It’s just the woman that you are,
Bold, brave, black and beautiful!!!

Your love is so full of tenderness,
Your smile full of joy and happiness,
And the way you talk, it makes my heart leap with excitement,
Your words are expressive and full of care,
And your eyes towards me, they always stare,
Though I might not say it, it always makes me wan to be there,
Oooh! My dear!!
It’s just the woman that you are,
Bold, brave, black and beautiful!!!

You are patient and impressive,
Quick to anger, but excellent at managing it,
You are truthful and thoughtful,
And when you wake up in the morning, me in mind you always have,
“Are you okay?” you never fail to ask,
You delight in making me smile,
And with lots of effort you ensure that it stays there for a while,
Oooh! My dearest sweetheart,
What can I say,
It’s just the woman that you are,
Bold, brave, black and beautiful!!!

My love!
Your beauty surprises even the mighty,
The way your skin glows and shines,
The way it’s smooth and colourful,
It keeps me craving for it and longing to touch,
Your eyes are just perfect,
They add an excellent touch to a beauty that naturally exists,
And your lips are a force to reckon with,
They are tasty and captivating,
And your body excites me every time I see it,
Like a magnet it attracts me to you,
My love!!
You are glamorous, elegant and sophisticated,
What else can I say,
It’s just the woman that you are,
Bold, brave, black and beautiful!!!

You are kind and forgiving, sweet and loving,
Hopeful And full of dreams,
It’s the woman that you are so it seems,
You are compassionate and compelling, adorable and existing,
Sweet with kids and doesn’t matter where it leads,
It’s just the woman that you are,
Bold, brave, black and beautiful!!!

I would go on and on and on and on,
But lemme just stop there,
Coz as long as you still care
I will always be there
And let others just stare,
Coz it’s simply the woman that you are,
Bold, brave, black and beautiful!!!

They Have Feelings Too

People write on paper so that they can refer later,
But this I write in your hearts, where it will be kept, safe, fresh and alive.
We’ve brought upon ourselves calamities, that are sweeping away our communities,
But it’s not time to lament or comment, but to act fast and swift.
I call upon the energetic young men,
The wise old men, women, the rich and the poor,
To stand together as one and help fight this “Satan”
Where is our environment?
That was once beautiful and full of life.
Where are the tall green trees?
That once graced the scenery, and made it look great,
Fresh, and cool.
It’s gone!!
Gone by the wind that sweeps across the Sahara desert.
It pains my soul and haunts my being,
Waking up at the site of huge lorries full of charcoal,
Yet you and I can do something
To put an end to this act that never ends.
I’m speaking to myself,
I’m speaking to you,
I’m speaking to kenya,
I’m speaking to Africa,
And speaking to the world,
Lets stand together, and fight for the helpless voiceless trees.
Lets try put ourselves in their shoes and have a feel of what they go through day in day out,
Year in year out,
Losing those that they call their own to people they are supposed to call upon.

Drunk In Love

Is it your lips?
Is it your hips?
That every time I touch my heart skips,
Is it your chest?
Or is it your breasts?
That every time I look at my day is at it’s best,
Are you the prise?
That I see every time I close my eyes,
Tell me dear, coz I’m drunk in love!!!

Your sweet kisses,
Have brought together my heart that way broken into pieces,
Your soft touch, leaves me flying looking for somewhere to perch,
The force of attraction that I feel around you,
Makes me melt with love,
They say love can make you mad,
But I say it actually makes you sad,
Or maybe I’m simply drunk in love!!!

You say I’m the one with your hearts key,
You say your inside I’m the only one who can see,
That’s why in my arms is where you want to be,
You say I’m a gentleman,
And that you like no other man,
But I also say, you are my woman,
And I wouldn’t share you with any man,
Coz believe me, I’m drunk in love!!!

You arouse me with your sweet perfume,
Every time I enter the room,
You captivate me with your sexy dances,
That make me want to take my chances,
And when you caress my body,
What I feel I can’t tell anybody,
Ooh! My dear!! I’m totally drunk in love!!!

A Heavenly Race

Heaven I will jump and reach it faster,
Even before my pastor,
Then I will have my laugher,
And him thereafter,
We all went to church,
Some of us even missed lunch,
But it was because of our quest to catch,
A little that meant so much,
We preached so that someone’s heart we could touch,
And make her, this God of ours to search,
But to sad, in Satan they went to perch.
We are now glad,
But they are sad,
That the chance they never had,
Because they threw away their invitation card.

Mother's Day

Today’s mother’s day,
And I know it’s here to stay,
Therefore before I delay,
This message I must convey,
There orders we should obey,
Like a potter’s sculpture made of clay.
They have gone through a lot,
And even sometimes they’ve been caught,
Stealing from someone’s pot,
So that our stomachs they could sought,
You and me they’ve taught,
Not to try that thing call “tot”
And for sure to us they mean a lot.
Forever we should pray for them,
Even if yours is lame,
As a mother she’s still the same,
And our bad behaviour towards them we should tame,
Mine I will always claim,
That’s her who has given me this fame

Sacrifice

Hi my dear?
How is it there?
It’s lovely here,
Without you near,

That’s why I’ve gone to drink beer,
So that things can be clear,
To be sincere,
I have not felt this way for a year.

You have always had it your way,
But this time I pray,
That my orders you will obey
Don’t say it okay,
Simply to keep me at bay.

Yesterday I found you at work,
I know it was just my luck,
Please baby come back,
Coz it’s only you I can fu**

My Pride

Today I cried,
It was because I had lied,
She had something to ride,
Yet I had nowhere to hide,
That’s why we now collide.
It was as soon as I married her,
That she bought a car,
I tried to be at per,
She was being called Madame, yet no one called me sir.
I want to be a man and stall tall,
But with her around I can’t at all,
Someone I long to call,
But as far as I can recall,
Me, he wouldn’t be able to consul.
My pride is long gone,
I don’t know how long I can hold on,
I just want to be on my own,
But never will she leave me alone.
