My Pride
Today I cried,
It was because I had lied,
She had something to ride,
Yet I had nowhere to hide,
That’s why we now collide.
It was as soon as I married her,
That she bought a car,
I tried to be at per,
She was being called Madame, yet no one called me sir.
I want to be a man and stall tall,
But with her around I can’t at all,
Someone I long to call,
But as far as I can recall,
Me, he wouldn’t be able to consul.
My pride is long gone,
I don’t know how long I can hold on,
I just want to be on my own,
But never will she leave me alone.
