Angelic Tendrils

Angelic Tendrils
by Darren White and Jason Williams (bothboos)

Angelic tendrils cascade over his twinkling eyes
His lightning green reflect my amazement
He catches my gaze and mimics my wonder
Twinkling resonating in my inner being

Angelic tendrils dancing with his laughter
Tight curls, like ribbons on a gift just for me
The sharpness of his eyes and the curve of his smile
Such a divine combination, a gift that heaven sent

In me he lives, and I in him, far more than just friends
And then I lift him in my arms and carry him away
To a place that is safe, to a place that is warm
And with the soft brushing of lips an eternal love has begun.

His eyes read the thousand words he could not say
My very self in loving thoughts I need not explain
It brings me to where pain has no place
Where our hearts can beat their beat together

The Magic of Sunset

The Magic of Sunset Collaboration poem by: Jason Williams and Darren White *** I am scared to be on horseback, I am scared to fall down hard I don't want to be touched, I can not let down my guard. It's normal to be scared, It's your first time, I know. I'll show you how to hold the reigns I promise we'll go slow. Can we go there very careful? Step by step, and not too fast? You steer me in the right direction Please, I had a scary past.... Just relax and find the rhythm, The magic is hidden there. Once you find it, you will know. The magic we will share. And slowly I relax and feel The rhythm of the horse's pace I follow your lead carefully The setting sun sets us ablaze Into the night we'll carry on Till twilight, then we'll rest We'll set camp and by firelight, your head upon my chest

In Your Hands

IN YOUR HANDS
Collaboration poem by Jason Williams and Darren White

You say it will cleanse
Not my sins, I am not religious
My only religion is you
In your hands I am clean

In your hands the water will
Calm my weary head, you will
cut my hair, make me new
In your hands I am more

Your touch is a balm to me
It's cool cosset, a blanket
Protecting me from the past
Allowing me to grow strong again

In your hands I place my trust
I am yours to mold and shape
Sever the old and muddled
Making room for new growth

Water will wane your wounds
Will softly caress your pain
Will even out the folds and creases
In your brow, I float you gently

Oh how I shine so bright now
A new found confidence upon me
I am cleansed, my wounds healed
In your hands I am renewed

Oceans Apart

Collaboration poem:
Jason Williams
Darren White

***

I’ve fallen for him, I’m head over heals
His picture I have, gives me so many feels.
His smile, his eyes, so beautiful to me,
When he looks my way, then what does he see?

I look at his photos, so dear to me
His eyes warm and sometimes sad
Whatever he tells me, all I can see
Is gentleness and love, nothing bad.

Just to hear his voice and what he will say.
Bringing light to my world, he brightens my day.
Oceans apart, it’s really not fair
But I love what we have, I know that he cares.

I won't forget the day we met for real
I love him and know him so very well
Every little thing makes me whole, I feel
Alive again, totally under his spell

     With each day that passes, i'm starting to find;
He's sweet and compassionate, this angel of mine.
Each night i wait and each night I long
for morning to come, with him I belong

His little giggles, how he feels no shame
around me, how he talks, what he says
That's the way love evolves, he feels the same
about me, his loving, tender ways.

By candlelight, I lie awake in bed,
with visions of him skating through my head.
For morning I wait, for morning I long.
In the mean time, I listen to our song.

I dance, arms wrapped around me, I sway,
Rock back and forth with memories
I hope that one day, not just a piece
Of me will be with him, and this time stay
