The Magic of Sunset

The Magic of Sunset

I am scared to be on horseback,
I am scared to fall down hard
I don't want to be touched,
I can not let down my guard.

It's normal to be scared,
It's your first time, I know.
I'll show you how to hold the reigns
I promise we'll go slow.

Can we go there very careful?
Step by step, and not too fast?
You steer me in the right direction
Please, I had a scary past....

Just relax and find the rhythm,
The magic is hidden there.
Once you find it, you will know.
The magic we will share.

And slowly I relax and feel
The rhythm of the horse's pace
I follow your lead carefully
The setting sun sets us ablaze

Into the night we'll carry on
Till twilight, then we'll rest
We'll set camp and by firelight,
your head upon my chest
